About the position

The Senior Analyst of People Analytics at CarMax plays a crucial role in leveraging data analytics and strategic problem-solving skills to inform major people decisions and initiatives impacting the workforce of 30,000 associates. This position is part of the HR Strategy team, which collaborates to shape key decisions across the organization while upholding CarMax's core values of integrity, people-first approach, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Advance Key HR Initiatives by bringing a data-driven perspective to influence strategic decisions in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Associate Experience, Compensation, and Benefits.

  • Build Transformational Analytical Tools including datasets, predictive models, machine-learning algorithms, and reports to drive business performance.
