Position Overview:

Blue Collar Scholars is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects in the Washington, D.C. area. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating field operations, ensuring quality control, managing timelines and budgets, and maintaining strong communication between crews, clients, and company leadership. This role requires excellent organizational skills, leadership ability, and a proactive mindset to ensure successful project delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and manage all phases of assigned projects.
  • Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure work meets company standards and project deadlines.
  • Track project budgets, expenses, and materials to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment needs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Communicate project updates to management and clients.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues that may impact project schedules or performance.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of field staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management would be preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with construction management tools such as Google Sheets, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
