As a member of the Applied® Fluid Power Network, you will help customers get the parts they need, interacting extensively with them to clarify their needs, research and recommend parts, provide quotes, and take orders. You will provide sales support and service to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), industrial companies, engineering firms, heavy equipment customers, etc. where fluid power is utilized. While the majority of your interactions will take place over the phone, this is not a call center environment, but rather a service and parts center. Why join us? Our guiding principle of taking care of the customer allows you to do far more than just field complaints. You will act as an inside sales partner and provide our customers with assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems and will build ongoing business relationships with our customers. You will also occasionally do some hands-on work that will require mechanical aptitude – (don’t worry, as long as you don’t feel overwhelmed at assembling furniture, that’s enough of an aptitude for us to teach you.)
